Roy Orbison (Paul Hopkins)
Relive the live concert experience of one of the worlds most enigmatic performers in this nostalgic tribute to a musical legend. This is the perfect start to the evening. A poignant narration throughout the set welcomes the audience and gives them some idea about Roys interesting life. Dressed all in black, Paul totally encapsulates the persona of Roy Orbison, leading you to believe that you actually are in the presence of this great icon. His soaring vibrato sends shivers down the spine of a spellbound audience. This Dynamic and faithfully reproduced show revives the best loved songs of the late great “Big O” including “Only the Lonely”, Pretty Woman”, “In Dreams” and “You got it”. (Running Time 45mins)
Gene Pitney (Paul Hopkins)
The recent sad Demise of this much loved entertainer has once again brought his considerable talent to the forefront of our minds. With his semi-operatic singing style, Gene Pitney was nothing less than unique. His career spanned over 3 decades and gave rise to such classics as “24 hours from Tulsa” “Something’s gotten hold of my heart” and “Backstage”. This section of the night is a great opportunity for people to sing along to these favourites, and enjoy all those hits that still sound very modern today. Paul gives a fantastic tribute to Gene Pitney, cleverly replicating all his simple, yet meaningful characteristics, and therefore allowing the audience to step back in time and be at a Gene Pitney concert again. (Running Time 45mins)
Elvis Presley (Jason Karl)
This is the Grand Finale of the show and a fitting end to a fabulous night of live entertainment. Elvis Presley was, and still is, the biggest star in the world. In Britain alone he had 18 number ones, over 60 top ten hits and was in the charts for a total of 1,200 weeks. He was at his resplendent best during his Vegas years and this is the era that is featured in the show. Jason, being the same height as Elvis and tremendously good looking, has the attention of every fan in the building, and when he starts to sing a rapturous applause fills the whole room. He has the same beautiful, velvety texture that Elvis had and sings every note with breathtaking accuracy. He is by far the closest thing to the king of rock n roll that you are ever likely to see.
